Sambhashanashibiram

With its popular 10-day spoken Samskritam program, Samskrita Bharati has continued to refine its direct teaching approach to make the learning process easy and effective.

Deriving strength from our natural ability to learn native Indian languages, Samskrita Bharati's teaching methodology is structured around the way a child is first exposed to the language(s) spoken by people around it.

Firstly, the child becomes familiar with the sounds and words of the language, after which it begins to utter its first broken sentences. Over time, he/she acquires the ability to read and write.

The direct approach to language learning is thus a four-stepped process: listen-speak-read-write, which is utilised effectively in the Sambhashanashibiram.

Patralayadwara samskritapatanam

Samskrita Bharati’s Distance Learning Program (DLP) has three facets:

1.

Conducting Tutorial Classes – DLP conducts regularly scheduled tutorial classes to cover the material necessary to take the 4 standard certificate exams namely Pravesha, Parichaya, Shiksha, and Kovida.

2.

Please note that registering/attending DLP tutorial classes is not mandatory for taking the exams, nor will the tutorial class students have any preferential treatment for the exams.

3.

Conducting Certification Exams – DLP conducts exams for certification of Pravesha, Parichaya, Shiksha, and Kovida.  These are conducted in two cycles per year namely, in June and December.

4.

DLP Exam related books (Pravesha, Parichaya, Shiksha, and Kovida) can be purchased from the SB Bookstore.

Balakendram

Samskrita Bharati Middle East’s Balakendram promotes a child-friendly and fun-loving environment to immerse children in Samskritam. Actively engaging and inspiring children in Samskritam and anchoring them to our rich ‘Samskritiḥ’ (cultural heritage) is at the heart of SB Balakendram.
SB teachers motivate and engage children striving to build life-long love for learning. Proficiency in speaking and learning Samskritam needed for everyday interactions, building children’s skills within a positive and nurturing learning environment, and motivating parents to learn spoken Samskritam to support their children's learning are Balakendram’s key goals.

Prashikshanam

Transforming teachers into educators, SB conducts mandatory learning sessions year-round to train teachers on methodologies for the DLPs, Sambhashanashibiram, and Balakendram and maintain consistency in teaching styles and standards.
At SB, learning never stops. SB aspires to offer teachers a one-of-a-kind learning platform to upskill themselves and continue to strengthen the foundation of our nation by nurturing and grooming our future generations in Samskritam.

Manthanakaryakrama:

Samskrita Bharati conducts a variety of programs to promote spoken Samskritam amongst children, youth, and family. At Manthans, child and adult participants attendees enjoy the opportunity to perform music, dance, and plays in Samskritam to a discerning audience.
Such sessions have proved to be very successful in not just engaging people, but also imbibing cultural values, and re-energizing the spirit of learning. More importantly, one gets to network and encourage more parents and children to learn Samskritam.

Kavyapatanam
